TRISH this is so inspiring

This is one of the kindest things you may ever see.. It is not known who replied, but there is a beautiful soul working in the dead letter office of the US postal service. Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey.. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words… Continue

Deb Are you sure I am ready for this?

I keep asking the Lord this question and I often wonder if I truly am ready for what he has placed upon me. To me, life is all about preparation for what tomorrow will bring. Many times in my life I've been blessed with trials that have taught me patience, compassion

Dale Stensland the resurrection & ascention of Jesus Christ

The Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus Christ John 20:1-21 (KJV) The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. {2} Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. {3} Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the se… Continue

Dale Stensland The battle is Mine, says the Lord.

The battle is Mine, says the Lord. However, you are in My army and that makes it your battle as well. Child of Mine, do not be a deserter. Do not run and hide and allow the enemy of your souls to trample on you. Do not allow him to steal and hurt and destroy you because you do not resist him or put up a fight. Do you understand how marauders work? They steal/pillage illegally because no one resists them and no one puts up a fight and no one stops them. Just like any bully, they only pick on tho… Continue

Dale Stensland Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.

Psalm 55:23 "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." THE BLOOD One night in a church service a young woman felt the tug of God at her heart. She responded to God's call and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. The young woman had a very rough past, involving alcohol, drugs, and prostitution. But, the change in her was evident. As time went on she became a faithful member of the church. She eventually became involved in the mini… Continue

Dale Stensland Meth is my name, Death is my game.

Meth is My name, Death is my game. The following was written by a young Indian girl while in jail for drug charges; she was addicted to meth. As you will soon read, she fully grasped the horrors of the drug, as she tells in this simple, yet profound poem. She was released from jail, but, true to her story, the drug owned her. They found her dead not long after, with the needle still in her arm. My name is Meth... I destroy homes, I tear families apart, I take your children, and that's just the… Continue

Dale Stensland My name is Pride

My Name Is Pride My name is Pride. I am a cheater. I cheat you of your God-given destiny... because you demand your own way. I cheat you of contentment... because you "deserve better than this." I cheat you of knowledge... because you already know it all. I cheat you of healing... because you're too full of me to forgive. I cheat you of holiness... because you refuse to admit when you're wrong. I cheat you of vision... because you'd rather look in the mirror than out a window. I cheat you of ge… Continue

Dale Stensland For victims of incest, Jesus Loves you!

For victims of incest, Jesus Loves you! I was told to speak, peace be with you. Over 11 years ago Sept 97 when the tapes were placed in my house but the ordeal began in summer 1992 I became a “victim” of incest. (Outside my family) A Fiancé" & 2 boys & son-in-law’s, this had been going on for 5 years before I found out. It is very sad how society wants to push the victims of such things under the rug, When I was visited by Jesus, I was told to speak of myself. I have lost pretty much e… Continue

Dale Stensland HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE- Old Testament Overview

2a-HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE- Old Testament Overview The Old Testament consists of the 39 books of the original Jewish Bible, still used by Jewish people today. The word "Testament" means "covenant, agreement, contract". The word "Old" means "older, original," or the way God related to men and women before the Coming of Christ. The name "Old Testament" does NOT mean that these books are irrelevant or outdated. They in fact are used, studied and quoted by all the authors of the New Testament and can… Continue

Dale Stensland help just one

People say“ oh that’s all over” (incest) it’s bad, what can you do? My response is like the man on the beach: A young, man strolling along a beach at dawn stopped to watch an older man pick up starfish and toss them back into the sea. The older man said he was rescuing the starfish before the hot summer sun could bake them. Sarcastically, the young man said, "There must be hundreds of starfish here. How can you make any difference?" The old gentleman looked at the starfish in his hand before th… Continue

Dale Stensland the power of "one"

The power of "One" "I [God] sought for a man [person] among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one."1 Have you ever felt helpless in light of the seemingly overwhelming problems we face in today's world—either at home or abroad? The truth of the matter, however, is that one person can make a world of difference to at least one other person and, more often than not, to a host of other persons. Some time ag… Continue

TRISH THE WHIPPING

> > There was a school with a class of students that no teacher had been able to handle. Two or three teachers had been run off from this school in one year by the unruly students. > > A young man, just out of college, heard about the class and applied to the school. > > The principal asked the young man, 'Do you know what you are asking for? No one else has been able to handle these students. You are just asking for a terrible beating'. After a few moments of silent prayer,… Continue

The Greatest Life
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. - Galatians 2:20
If you want to be a true follower of Jesus, you need to take up your cross. Jesus said, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me" (Matthew 16:24). That may sound miserable to some of us. You envision yourself carrying around some huge, wooden cross - living a miserable life, a life of selfless sa… Continue
